Mason's Dry Yorkshire Gin
- Head producer:
- North Yorkshire
- Small batch craft Gin
Distilled using the traditional London Dry Gin method in a traditional small copper alembic still, Masons Yorkshire Gin is truly a small batch craft Gin.
We wanted to create a taste that wasn't just your run of the mill, off the shelf, generic gin. Recipe after recipe was rejected in the search for a gin we felt deserved to be called Masons Yorkshire Gin, a Gin we would choose to drink.
Distilled in 200 litre batches, each bottle bears its own hand written batch and bottle number.
With its traditional distillation method, Harrogate Spring Water and just the right balance of juniper, citrus elements and secret botanicals (we even have our own juniper bushes now), we finally created a distinctly unique Gin that we are proud to call Masons Yorkshire Gin.
Masons Yorkshire Gin, newly launched and the first Gin from Yorkshire is traditionally distilled using Harrogate Spring Water.
Tasting sessions generated comments from reviewers, the public and stockist such as:
Sold the 1st two shots. Feedback so far "wow that's different really nice" and "the nicest gin I have ever had"
"The gin equivalent of "No Luke, I am your father"!" was how the Collingham branch of Ake & Humphris described the Gin after tasting it.
Words folk used to describe it from customers included... "Wooah" "Massive" "Different" "Aromatic" "Reet tasty" "Bold"
"This is the first gin in my life that I've liked and I'm 40!"
A customer at Lewis & Coopers in Northallerton said "Now that's something really special"
Not just "another gin" but Yorkshire Gin, and it is different.
