At Beard & Sabre we combine the very best of brewing and cidermaking to craft incredible British drinks. Our veteran orchadeers with over 30 years of industry experience, plant, grow and pick the finest cider apples in the South West from our 100 acre orchard in Shepton Mallet. Only the best vintage cider apple varieties are used, including Somerset's Redstreak, Yarlington Mill and Dabinett. Once pressed into juice our cider is matured over a period of two years: undergoing malolactic fermentation which produces a smoother, mellow cider. We then add our special touch, - hops. The finest British hops are hand picked in Worcestershire, chosen specifically to compliment the real cider base. They are added after fermentation, or 'Dry-Hopped' to impart beautiful natural aromas and flavours, combining the fruit of the tree with the boon of the earth, apple and hop, infused together to create truly inspiring, 100% natural craft drinks. Our ciders are painstakingly made and are designed with the freehold pub in mind - easy drinking and appealing to real ale and cider drinkers alike.
