Brewer Profiles by Region

☞ Brasserie Craig Allan: “Food-friendly, full-flavoured beers which have successfully been introduced to wine-dominated, gastronomic restaurants in the French capital and the growing number of 'cave à bières' and speciality beer bars in France.”

☞ Brasserie la Goutte d'Or: “The name of each beer draws on the rich history and cultural diversity surrounding the brewery. 'Ernestine' is an IPA named after the street where old breweries were located. It has kola nut aromas and uses the leaves of rooibos, a link between southern Africa and the West which reflects the neighborhood of La Goutte d'Or.”

☞ Les Brasseurs du Grand Paris: “Gypsy brewers who love hops and never compromise on the choice of varieties, quantity or quality of the hops required to get the flavors they seek. From 2017 they will be crafting some of the best beers in France from their own brewery which they are building in the outskirts of Paris.”

☞ La Brasserie du Mont Salève: “Supplementing their choice of international ingredients, they work closely with "Les Malteurs Echos" who grow and malt Rhône-Alpes cereals. They use house yeasts adapted to the way Mont Salève brew. Using hops from French Barbe Rouge through to Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand and the now classic hops such as Cascade and Chinook. They are also active in progressing experimental hops. The results speak for themselves.”

☞ Brasserie de la Vallée du Giffre: “The head brewer discovered craft beer during a trip to North America. Mostly dry beers, often with a moderate percentage of alcohol, using local spring water from the Alps. Extensive experience in carefully selecting malts, yeasts and hops with the sought atfter characteristics brings to life exquisite beers to savour. In a neighbouring valley you can find his friends at Mont Salève.”
