Moor Beer Co was born in a barn in deepest rural Somerset, but now live in the bright lights of the big city of Bristol. Run by an LA native who came to the South West via Germany and the San Francisco craft beer boom.
We are a small team who produce a range of beers made to the exacting standards of head brewer Justin Hawke, you'll find no Unicorn tails or hand foraged Jabuticaba Berries in our beers, just Malt from the best producers in England and Germany, Hops from around the world, and our carefully developed House yeast.
Our bottles are different as well; we only use American style ‘Bombers’. These 660ml big boys are not just good for sharing (or not) they are also better for your beer than a smaller bottle, so better beer and more of it. We call that a win.
While most of our beer is cask-conditioned and sold primarily in pubs, we also provide beer in smaller containers for parties and individuals looking to enjoy a nice bottle at home or with friends. All our bottles are hand-bottled in small batches and bottle-conditioned with live yeast for extra flavour. Matching the big flavours of our beers, we bottle in 660ml bottles – perfect for sharing or enjoying on your own.
